Both Soddy and Daisy were thriving coal mining communities in the early 1900s. They combined and incorporated in 1969.

Located between Walden Ridge and Soddy Lake, with stunning natural surroundings, Soddy-Daisy offers residents country charm with easy access to employers and medical care.

to several local manufacturers and service providers, and the Sequoyah  nuclear power plant is under fifteen minutes away.

Transportation: Less than 20 miles north of Chattanooga, Soddy-Daisy residents can take Hixson Pike directly to downtown Chattanooga or Highway 153 which leads to the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport and I-75. Also available is Highway 27 which leads south to Chattanooga and I-24 and I-75. Highway 27 also leads north to I-40 which connects to Nashville and Knoxville.
