As one of the most historic neighborhoods in Chattanooga, Riverview features regal homes, many dating back to the early 20th century. With quick access to the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club, communities such as The Enclave at Riverview and Heritage Landing offer residents the perfect place to settle down, and residences at Longholm Court, along with many other properties in the area, boast spacious floor plans.
Riverview is near many of downtown’s top employers, including BlueCross BlueShield, TVA, Unum, EPB, Cigna, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, city and county governments, and three major health systems. Other nearby employers include Kenco Group, Southern Champion Tray, and Chattanooga State Community College.
Situated between Highways 27 and 153, and only minutes from I-24 and I-75, residents of Riverview can easily reach the surrounding area and roads that lead to the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, and Knoxville.
Students residing in Riverview are either zoned for Normal Park Museum Magnet Lower School or Rivermont Elementary, Normal Park Museum Magnet Upper School or Red Bank Middle School, and Red Bank High School. Numerous other magnet schools are close by, such as Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, STEM School Chattanooga, and Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts. Girls Preparatory School, Notre Dame High School, The Bright School, St. Jude School, St. Peter’s Episcopal School, Baylor School, and McCallie School are also in the area and have regional and national accreditations.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS:
Major health care systems are nearby, including CHI Memorial, Erlanger, and Parkridge. Kindred Hospital (a transitional care facility), Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation, and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga are also a short drive away.
